This has been a long time coming. I started using OSX at work about two years ago, and really came to like it. Add the screwup that is Vista to the mix, and replacing my ancient desktop PC with a Mac was an easy choice.

I respect your right to buy a mac and I'm glad you're happy with it.

I'll be installing XP and Ubuntu when I get my new hardware so I'm leaning toward a 'nix system too. :)

With WinXP going off the market in a couple of days, and Vista continuing to be a cockup, I'm going to happily continue moving away from Microsoft products entirely. Maybe a XBox360, but should I really need another 7th-generation game console, it'll almost definitely be a PS3.

I doubt xp will totally go away any time soon. And I totally agree that it's a totall cockup to be NICE about it. :)
