Touch and Go

Went to Liberty for a handful of reasons yesterday.  Visit Mom and The Niece and make lunch for them, and get a chair from Mom&Dad's soon-to-be-replaced suite.  Happy surprise - Dad was able to come home for the weekend!  I fixed Mom's computer (replaced the sound card - nothing big), too.

We had a good time together - lots of cooking and playing with The Niece (and one of her half-sisters).  Busy, and great fun.

Today is Father's Day.  To all the good dads out there, enjoy it.  Talk with your kids, do things with them, and savor the likely silly things they'll do for you.  I'm very lucky in that my father and I have grown closer in the past years.  We're good friends.  Being a father is easy - it's mechanical, then biological.  Being a dad takes a lot more.

Weekend

Today was a darn fine day.

Slept late.  Went to BW3 with Elalyr and Tragical Mirth and Tegyrius.  Goofed off in the evening.

Am now making a couple of backup characters for an upcoming short-run D&D game.  Could use 1-2 more players, if you're available and interested.  Making a Cleric and a Wizard, as that's what's needed most.
