August 7 already.
Saturday was Rosepurr's wedding. Most of the day was taken up with matters relating to that - I got to spend a great deal of time with her (and Erin's) extended family. Like any family, I guess, they're mostly good people. Almost entirely, really. I love her mom and sisters to death, and would like to get to know one a little better. Her dad is great, and his partner, too, and her grandmother reminds me very much of my own.
The day itself was hot. August in Central Kentucky - of course it's hot. The ceremony proper was brief, and I spent most of the reception catching up with![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

Broke in my wok last night. Spinach and garlic, stir-fried potatoes, and stir-fried beef. Delicious.
Back to work this week. Some business to attend to before that, though, including finding better employment.
