Holy, but nowhere near silent.

More access than I'd expected.  This is a pleasant surprise.

Left Lexington for Liberty early yesterday afternoon.  The Explorer's temp gauge fluctuated like neocon morality, but according to Dad, that's normal for the big guy during winter weather.  I think I'm going to see about putting a new thermostat in him soonish.  The truck was loaded down with gifts and other stuff (both Erin and I taking advantage of doing laundry at our parents' homes).

Micahalia loved her gift - a Nintendo DS Lite.  She dove right into training her puppy in Nintendogs.  Very happy girl.  She and Erin and I spent Saturday night with Mamaw, who was quite happy to have a living room floor full of us.  She looks very frail now, though.  Not a good sign.

Mom's dreadful computer luck continues.  The nice new wireless keyboard she bought was defective;  the keys on the right half didn't work.  Back to Office Depot with it come Tuesday.

The truck is now even more heavily loaded with gifts from Mom&Dad, including a big ol' office chair for me.  I expect it'll add to my flagging productivity, as I'll be able to work comfortably at my desk now, and not be so distracted by TV while working in the living room.

In Lancaster now.  Yelling children are confirming my resolve to not have any.  We're spending the night here, celebrating Christmas with Erin's local family in the morning, and heading back home in 18 hours or so.  For now, I'm going to try and get some words down on T2013, in between stretches of reading ConX2 and the Iron Kingdoms Character Guide.
