And the lack of it pretty well sucks rocks.

Had planned to go to bed reasonably early last night, right after Heroes, in fact.  But, instead, I called Erin and talked to her about the episode, just a little tiny bit.  She asked about The Effect, and that sparked some writing.  And then around 11 or so, she IM'd me with a request to help find some music.  And around 1:30, I finally got to bed.

It's May 1 already.  Glad-I-Don't-Live-in-Louisville Week.

In ways I can't begin to describe, I'm hoping to get away again for a weekend - not a reunion or a working escape, just getting away.  It'll be a while before I get the opportunity, though.  Probable obligations for this weekend, two conflicting demands over the 12th-13th weekend.

Actually it's rather calm, at least until Saturday. In fact, we're pretty much prohibited from our regular work starting Thursday so we don't break anything.

I should use that excuse sometime. "I'm sorry, I can't write that specification today. We just got it to a stable version and I might accidentally break Development's paradigm."
