Bring on the Night

TV last night:

Chuck looks like a keeper.  Decent action and humor.

Heroes is back!  New mysteries!  New characters!  Matt finally made detective - and his CO is Lieutenant Castillo from the Miami Vice movie!  Thanks to Nissan for minimal commercials, and your new crossover isn't nearly as ugly as the Murano!  Mr. Bennett is still a badass!

Journeyman didn't do a lot for me.  Whole lotta cheesecake, though.  I'll give it two more episodes, but if there's a good MNF game on ESPN, I'm outta there.

More invigoration from talking gaming with an old pal last night.  This rocks.

I <3 Mr. Bennett. The way he dealt with the manager was a thing of beauty. Even the wife, who doesn't watch Heroes applauded at that scene.

Haven't seen Chuck or Journeyman yet. I did make time for Heroes though.

There was some discussion of Chuck on the new Spycraft forum if you're looking for some insight. The version I saw was pretty enjoyable, a sort of dramedy, erring slightly more towards drama.

Oh, and it's got Adam Baldwin in it.

In a season full of terrific stuff, my favorite moment of the first season belonged to Bennett:

"What am I thinking now, Parkman?"
"Your last thought."

Claire and her dad are my two favorite characters on that show. I love those Bennetts.

Mr. Bennett went from being someone who made me cringe every time he was onscreen to the guy I most looked forward to seeing.

Yeah. It was fun.

A whole lot of fun! But why do the car companies keep saying "crossover" when they so clearly mean "station wagon"?

Journeyman didn't do a lot for me.
Me neither. I enjoyed McKidd as Lucius Vorenus, but something about this show just didn't do it. Plus, his accent was just off enough to be annoying.
