Promises Promises

Today, the sales goons had an off-site meeting to launch a new publication.  Some bright-eyed-son-of-a-bitch (or, bitch, as I think I know who thought this up) decided to hold the meeting at a local rollerskating rink, and get the sales goons out skating.  Us ad designers and support folks stayed in the building, banged out a lot of ads, and honed our mad Adobe Creative Suite 2 skills.

Watched The Unit tonight.  Good to see Dennis Haysbert and Robert Patrick getting some regular work, but how on Earth does a show about a superelite counterterrorist team manage to be so darn boring?

Reading The Run of his Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson. Good stuff so far;  Jeffrey Toobin manages to condemn just about everyone involved pretty equally.

Very important that I remember to not wear my contacts to work anymore.  The air's just too dry there.

And equally important that I go to bed, as it's getting close to 1 a.m., and that's my reasonable cutoff point.

Glad it's not just me. I was about 20 minutes into The Unit when you got in, and that was all I really needed.

Less talky-talky, more kicky-in-doory.
