RJCC 2008
Here are the photos of the RJ Corman 2-10-2 at the Cox Street yard after its first US revenue run on Saturday, May 24.

Some have complained about the red side stripe, but I like it.

As built, these locomotives had "elephant ears" - steel sheets along the front of the cylindrical boiler.

Just out of frame to the right was one of the company helicopters.

The valve gear and other mechanical worky bits.
I would have loved to have seen this thing running, but my scheduling for the day just didn't work out. Maybe next time - like when it's hauling passengers to the Ryder Cup.

Here's hoping you get to see her in action one day.

You don't mind, keep me in the loop with this locomotive.

Railpictures.net has some good catches of 2008, at least a couple in Midway in Frankfort. Use the drop-down menus - select "RJ Corman" for railroad and "steam" for locomotive. Won't need to select location, I think.
