Yay, Friday.

It looks like, after long months, the end of the transition period at work is finally at hand.  It all "goes live" on August 11, so no more of this stuck there until 8 p.m. nonsense.  This whole process has been a 55-gallon drum of suck, and it's still got a lot of rough patches ahead, but for me, at least, it's about to be a better situation.

The Freeport game session last night was good, and like the GM, I'm going to hate seeing this one come to an end.  Means getting back to (and completing) L5R, though, and I'm good with that.

Batman Begins this weekend, I think, and maybe X-Files, too.

And three weeks until GenCon.

I'mm still annoyed that we had to wait a week before TDK came out here, and it's another week before X-Files comes out, too. It's like they want us to illegally download movies!

You antipodeans got Iron Man before we did, I think, by a day or so. I guess that's it - International Date Line envy or something.

Actually, we got it 48 hours earlier (give or take), due to NZ cinemas releasing films on Thursday instead of the American standard of Friday.

And, yeah, I guess that one did work in our favour, but it's still maddening.
