Transit!

It's done.  As of about noon today, my involvement in the transition from in-house to outsourced ad design is complete, and I am now at my new desk with my new team full time.

Woo! New team, new possibilities!

Yep! I've worked half-time with these folks since about March, and knew them all before then, of course. It's really good to now not have to change desks in the middle of the day and completely change responsibilities.

Now, for the pay grade increase to kick in ...

Yes when the pay goes up, suddenly the work seems like it matters. The rewards from a higher paying job are good for the mind, body and soul. Congrats again!

Thank ya!

And to you, since I haven't said it here or on RPG.net - best of luck with school! There's a rash of folks around me either going back or making plans to, and I guess it's contagious.

Thanks! I just need to find the time to actually begin doing school-related things and then I should be fine. :)

Returning to school is spreading like wildfire...or something.

It's getting to me, too. I'm going to talk to our HR folks about our tuition reimbursement program in the next few weeks.

Maybe all of us are just closeted sadists. Returning to school is never an easy task, yet so many among our ranks seem to actually want to return.

I figure there are a lot of us that hit our 30s, and what looked great (or even acceptable) at 23 isn't so appealing any more.
