All I Want is You
Had lunch with Donna on Friday. We haven't seen each other nearly enough since I moved to Louisville, to both of our disappointment. My oldest friend, and we just let things go. Spent a couple of hours at DiOrio's, catching up and talking about the future, and in my case, taking in some of her boundless energy and confidence.
The weekend wound up seeing a number of little affirmations, confidence boosters, reminders that the mind-weasels aren't right. Wish-you-were-here texts from friends at Archon, chatting with other players at an X-Wing tournament, good times playing games with other folks on Sunday. They're helping.
