I got moved from Zenith to a warm-body site after someone else quit out of the blue, and engaged in some real slack as a result. New site is a metal recycling site way out in the middle of nowhere, and there's no one but me from 6AM until 6PM. So, I took in my air mattress and slept most of the nights. No shame.

Got to see a couple of local NS runs to and from neighboring facilities, too, so a little bit of a bonus there.

I've escaped to the farm for a couple of days. Took Mom on some errands yesterday, and then went for a long walk with the wonderful and needy Doberman. Dad should be back from Atlanta today, and I think he's going to need to run up to Lexington.

CD Projekt Red released another Cyberpunk 2077 trailer, this one showing Keanu Reeves as Jonny Silverhand! Holy smokes. Also, a release date and a big honking collector's edition that is tempting me mightily. Coincidentally, there was a huge PS4 sale, and I finally got The Witcher. Haven't played it yet, but my next video game binge is set.

I've had a lot of concerns about how the developers at CDPR made, like, "Did you just assume my gender???" and other similar anti-trans jokes, among other things. It's really soured me personally on Cyberpunk 2077, which is a shame. They disavow bad intent, but they've been leaning into an alt-right fanbase, and it's uncomfortable. Like, I really like Keanu Reeves, but they've been pretty disappointing.

CDPR's gaffes - and that's a weak word for some of it - are ugly things.

I wish they were being better, and hope that things will change, but ... I want this game. It's darn near lust.
