Stigmata Martyr

Wow. Bauhaus first thing in the morning. That doesn't bode especially well.

Put up a resume on Monster last night, just to cast a wider net. At the first look, Monster has a much smaller listing than Careerbuilder.

Co-worker was showing off his shiny new Palm Zire at work last night. It's a nice enough little machine, but man, I'm glad I spent the extra for my TX. No card slots for the Zire, no networking ability, only 32MB of memory, and a very small usable screen. The fully-enclosing case is nice, though.

Wierdass dream last night. Train derailment at the Herald-Leader. I guess it was the H-L; I was working there, with the same people I work with now, but it sure wasn't the 100 Midland building.

I can not get away from apocalyptic media.  What's on MusicChoice Retroactive right now?  "It's a Mistake," by Men At Work.

In my experience, Monster has a much worse signal-to-noise ratio than CareerBuilder. Lots more "make money fast working from home" and national job postings.

When I looked at Monster's listings, that seemed to be the case. I did get a call from a financial planner this afternoon, which is funny in its own right.
