Bush is asking for another 20,000 troops to be deployed to Iraq.  I don't know that there are words for this level of stupidity.  After the November mid-term elections, I thought maybe the man would finally understand how things are, but I guess not.  Two more years.

Finished reading Freedom City yesterday.  Wow, wow, wow.  This thing is one of the best gaming products I've read in a long time.

Erin starts her short-term class today.  I hope it's a good one for her - Philosophy of the Simpsons.

Crazy ol' Pat Robertson says that God told him that a "mass killing" will occur on U.S. soil this year, not necessarily nuclear, but in multiple cities with millions affected.  Much as I'd hate to see anything bad happen to such a pretty place, but I expect that if Yahweh did indeed reveal the future to Robertson, the crosshairs are very likely centered on Virginia Beach.

Sheesh, it's nice for some. The best we get here is an English paper that covers Lord of the Rings - and that only came out 4 years AFTER I left Uni. Bah!
