Think

Last night, we put up pinata heads on pikes around the ACS area, as a warning to the other tribes.

Latest Bush stupidity:  21500 more troops, 'cause that'll accomplish the mission.  Oh, and Iran, Syria?  We're puttin' another aircraft carrier battlegroup in the Gulf, so you buncha filthy Ay-rabs better straighten up and fly right.  Dear God, can the next two years pass quickly enough?

Tonight, Mutants & Masterminds.

I watched the Bush monkey's 20 minute talk to the nation on the BBC site last night. I really did have to work hard to overcome my all consuming urge to repeatedly beat my head against my desk while doing so too.

Can someone please tell him that you don't fight fire with fire. FFS!

I still wonder how 54 million people can be so dumb.

Two words: bell curve.

Sadly this time it was the minority that managed to control the majority. Kinda like Iraq, really.

Although, after last year's mid-terms, things are looking good for 2008. I've heard that Edwards is thinking of running again too. Let's just hope the Dems don't drop the ball in the next year and a half and screw the pooch for everyone.

Edwards has thrown his hat in, and Chris Dodd (out of Connecticut) announced today. Tell you the truth, I don't have a whole lot of faith in any of the senators that are making noise about running. I would love to see Bill Richards (New Mexico governor) run - he's a populist, a futurist, and a moderate, and he pushed hard for state and Federal funding for the New Mexico International Spaceport.

Ooh, thanks for the tip-off. I'll check out those other two on Wikipedia now.

It would be interesting to see Richards in the House, especially if he continues his 'push to the stars'.
