tracker7I have a cold. I hate summer colds - this is definitely not just an allergy attack. Last night I had a fever, headache, soreness all over. All the good I'm-sick stuff. Some aspirin knocked the fever down and took the edge off of the headache, and I went to bed pretty early and slept just as late. Should be good enough to get to work today, but I'm giving a little bit of thought to staying home today.
Jerry Falwell died yesterday. I won't miss him - I believe he did much more harm than good, and he boisterously twisted his religion into an oppressive political power. I know there'll be another one to take his place alongside Dobson and Robertson, but for now, there's one less demagogue. My fondest wish is that he finds a Heaven where Yahweh's love and grace is available to everyone.
I should be getting the first draft of a new proofing job from Bethel Harvest today. Should be a quick job - I think, all told, I only spent 4-5 hours on the job last time around. Hopefully the check won't take as long to get here this time.
