Spirits in the Material World
Nov. 25th, 2007 11:16 amBattlestar Galactica: Razor was good. There, blessedly, wasn't anything in it to make Cain more sympathetic; if anything, it reinforced the depiction of her as an utter monster. The revelations regarding the "evolutionary dead-end" Cylon offshoots were fairly creepy, and seeing the old-style Raiders and Centurions was nice. Still dislike Starbuck.
The commercial breaks were plenty hopeful - promos for upcoming telecasts of The Matrix and National Treasure on SciFi. I took a look at the upcoming weekend schedules for the channel, and this week and next looked terrific - and then, back to the regular crapstravaganza of Mansquito and Atomic Tornado and all that rot.
A curiously-weak NFL schedule today. The Raiders and Bengals are playing, but a lot of my interest in the NFL has evaporated this season.
