Play This Only at Night
Jan. 24th, 2007 10:18 amTwo nights in a row of good solid sleep. No coughing fits, no middle-of-the-night wakeups. Crazy-ass dreams, but they're entertaining instead of disturbing.
World War Z is a darn fine read, even at less than 60 pages into it. Max Brooks writes this thing completely straight, like he did with The Zombie Survival Guide, and it works amazingly well. He puts a different voice in every character (and as this is "an oral history of the zombie war," that's absolutely necessary).
Snow this morning! Just a dusting, really, enough to cover the ground. Enough to convince Fayette County to give the kids a day off from school, I guess. Accidents all over the county this morning.
