Took forever to get to sleep Friday night.  Almost 3 a.m. before I finally shut down enough to sleep.  Was awakened by a wrong number call around 8 a.m.  Poor bastard got an earful.  I think the crowning glory of my yelling at the caller was "Do you know that cartoons aren't even on yet?"

So, since I couldn't go back to sleep, I made good(ish) use of the time.  Cleaned up my bedroom and living room.  Lots of junk cleared out, and a box of stuff put together to drop off for recycling.  Cleaned up the kitchen, too.

Erin and I went to the first AF2 Horsemen game tonight, and it was a whuppin'.  Lexington won over the Daytona Beach Thunderbirds, 48-12.  This year's Horsemen are both the team I've seen play for better than four years now and an entirely new animal.  The offense moves faster than I've seen before, but as you may have guessed by the score, the defense on this team was spectacular tonight.  I'm hoping to see this continue all season.

Tomorrow, I'm hoping to be plenty constructive.  Need to get groceries and do laundry.  Maybe a quick run out to Half-Price Books before Trinity.  And a whole lot of writing.

And so, it comes to an end.  Today was the final session of the Trinity game that has occupied most of my Sunday afternoons over the past year and change, and it was terrific.  Chromatics were walloped, teleporters rescued, and a certain electrokinetic made contact with an artificial intelligence.  Man, but I have loved the time spent in that universe, and I'm going to miss it.

But only for a while.  Today is Opening Day for Major League Baseball.  At last.
