It's Spring Break at UofL. The building is mostly deserted - professors are working from home unless they have meetings, and half of the administrative staff is on leave. I wrote a little bit yesterday and plan to do some more today, along with reading and getting further ahead of the curve with some semester projects.

The 7th Sea Kickstarter wrapped up, with $1.3 million in pledges. My $80 is a tiny part of that, and it's going to get me a ridiculous amount of gaming material. Maybe I'll even get to play! I've loved this game since first seeing the player and GM guides, way back before The Rusty Scabbard sucked.

Semi-related, I'm waiting, mostly patiently, for the Delta Green material to start showing up. I didn't go too deep into pledging on this one, but should still wind up with plenty of books and related files.

Also, there's Chronicles of Darkness. My print-on-demand copy is quite nice, and having all the material compiled in a single volume is very handy. I'm going to stick with the pre-CoD rules for ConGlomeration (and possible Slur Your Role gaming on the 3rd), however - comfort, timing, etc. Later games will get the new rules.

Nostalgia. I watched Unforgiven last night, and it stirred up some strangely happy memories. In the months before the movie was released, I spent a lot of time in Louisville, running up and down Frankfort Avenue. Just east of the reservoir, there was a billboard advertising the release date, and I was so looking forward to seeing it. That was a great summer. I had the fast car and the pretty girl and minimal responsibilities.

Frankfort Avenue is still full of ghosts, and I don't want to exorcise them anymore.
