DCC's weirdness appeals to me, the blurring and even erasure of the lines between fantasy and SF. Heck, my favorite DCC module is Frozen in Time, wherein the adventurers are asked to explore a community's sacred glacier and they find a time-traveling sorcerer-scientist's laboratory/museum.
Mongoose snapped up Dark Conspiracy, with a new version coming next year. Good to see the GDW properties finding homes, 30 years after.
