I went to my first meeting at my new internship yesterday. I didn't have to, but I just wanted to see what a meeting at Mega Mega Corp was like as compared to other media outlets I've experienced.
It was all I expected and more. Pretty much confirmed that I never, ever want to work for a major metropolitan daily. Another meeting like that, and I'll shoot myself in the head in front of the CEO and everybody.
And before I do it, I'll tell them all, "Ask yourself, 'Is this good for the company?'"
