After barely sleeping Sunday night, I slept like a big ol' log last night.  Woke up this morning very energetic and creative, and banged out quite a few words.  Erin is gently prodding me on the progress of what I'm writing, and that's been a big help towards maintaining forward movement.

This coming weekend is a Mom's-side family reunion, as far as I know the first one they've organized.  Organized is a good word for it, as unlike the reunions on Dad's side, there are things going on besides a big picnic-style meal at a church or park followed by interminable small talk and dispersal.  The weekend looks to be tremendous, weather-wise, and I may take my Mustang instead of the Explorer.  I had plans to blow out of Logan early Sunday morning and head to the New River Gorge, but I think I'm going to wind up staying around Logan for a little while longer.

I'm looking forward to this trip.  I really enjoyed the time I had with my cousins there a couple of weeks ago.  There are a few I probably won't have any real interest in talking to (again), but most of them ... Yeah.  It'll be good to catch up.

Mom&Dad finally got the accident report from the first week of the month.  They're going to start filing claims and all that good stuff.  Mom may have to undergo a little physical therapy because of the wreck.

Time to hit the shower and get ready for work.  If today's as slow as yesterday was, I should get a lot more writing done.  The day will take forever, though.
