I won't deny it - the Patriots are about twice the team now they were in September, but I don't think they're quite where they were this time last year.

Palmer's injury killed the Bengals. Kitna did a good job filling in, and he punched some holes in Pittsburgh's defense, but the team just ran out of rage and energy after halftime. I'm not willing to say that the outcome would have been different had Palmer played the whole game, but the game itself would have been very different.

New England is going to have a hard time with the Broncos this weekend. Denver's good, maybe better than their record shows. I expect a sweep for home teams this weekend.
