Accidents Will Happen
Oct. 15th, 2007 07:54 pmI've had my DS for two weeks now. I charged the battery at work the day I got it. Have played it at least an hour a day since getting it, and more than that over the weekend. Today, the power LED switched from green to red to inform me that the charge is low. That is some astounding battery life.
I bought The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass today. I am to understand that it's a sequel to TLoZ: Wind Waker for the ol' GameCube. I played a little bit of WW way back when; I expect this will encourage me to hunt down a copy of it.
Also bought new music and remastered old music. Magic, by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, is good. Extremely good. I'll have to give it another listen or two before I figure out the themes, and that'll be even more joy. Queensryche is putting out remasters of older albums, so I picked up Empire today. This is like reuniting with an old friend, and it is going a lot to amplify that cyberpunk itch I've had for a while.
tegyrius,
kinesys, you've been warned.

Date: 2007-10-16 01:33 am (UTC)As we've discussed, the short-runs are ways to both get use out of our libraries and try different takes on things we've already done. I'm looking at the latter for this project - my biggest failure with the old Manila 2020 game was focusing entirely on the war, instead of using it as a backdrop.
