This Hard Land
Dec. 26th, 2007 08:14 amUneventful drive to Somerset and Liberty. The Niece loves her iPod and DVD player, but we had some difficulties with the iTunes gift card I gave her, so when I get to work today, I have to set up an iTunes account so that she can use said card. This, I think, is extraordinarily bad policy on Apple's part.
There were five DS Lites at my grandmother's house on Christmas Day. A whirlwind of loaning cartridges and figuring out one-cart downloading and explaining to the Generation Two relatives how the networking works. The Niece's behavior continues to prove that she is related to me - I watched her focusing completely on one game for nearly an hour, completely shutting out the unholy ruckus going on around her.
After wrapping things up in Liberty, I split for Lancaster and spent a few hours with the ex-family. Erin loves her coat, which was a tremendous relief to me, but it's a little small for her, so she's going to exchange it soon. I had a lot of fun with them, honestly much more than I did with the houseful in Liberty.
