Atlantis lifted off Thursday afternoon, providing me with the high point of the day.  The corresponding low point was having to postpone the initial L5R session because I had to cover for a sick co-worker, staying much later than I wanted to.

Mitt Romney ended his campaign for the Republican nomination on Thursday, almost definitely giving John McCain a lock on the nomination.  I expect that Romney will wind up as McCain's running mate in the general election.
