I am not at work today.  Wednesday afternoon, a headache started about midway through my shift, and by the time I left, a fever was building.  Got up to about 102F before it broke, and when I got up Thursday morning, I was feeling pretty good.  Spirited, even.  Went to work, soared through the day, and ran L5R last night.  Got up this morning with a lesser fever and a vicious headache.  Chest hurts from coughing, and my voice is best described as raspy.  All things being equal, I'd almost rather be at work, since this week and next mark a significant change in how we do the job, but I'm quite unwilling to be a plague rat and respread this funk throughout the fourth floor.  So, it's couch time, lots and lots of fluids, and doing whatever I can to get the fever to break.

Unless this goes away, I don't expect to be in any shape to run HoE tomorrow night.  I really hope I'm okay to play Trinity on Sunday.

I feel terrible.
