The outsourcing saga continues.  One of us decided yesterday to take the severance package and be done with it, and she looked as if a massive weight had come off of her shoulders.  For my wingman, that was good news - means that she's more likely to get the position she applied for.

There's already some backlash from the outsourcing announcement, coming from both individuals and the city's business community.  Circulation's reported something like 50-100 subscribers calling to complain or cancel subscriptions outright, and a few local advertisers have decided to spend their budget elsewhere.

By the way, did I mention that I got the new power adapter for my laptop, and it works just fine, and I'm just giddy to have the little guy working again?

Oh, hey - news you can use.  One of the city's strip clubs got into some trouble early this week.  A new hire danced there on a couple of nights.  Said new hire had used a stolen/borrowed driver's license as proof of age.  She turned out to be all of 14 years old.

I'm curious. What exact use could this news be put to?
