I started training for the new job this week.  So far, it's pretty simple, but there are some things coming up that are really going to take some skullwork.  That's going to be a welcome change.

Hey, cybogoblin!  One of your countrymen is now a player for my local arena football team.  His name's Paul Dalzell - the press release is here.

Got some very good news yesterday.  UK's library resources are available to the general public, and that opens up a huge avenue for me on current and future writing jobs.

That name sounds familier, but I can't find any photos of the guy to be sure. Still, here's hoping he does well for your team. Perhaps he could teach them how to perform the Haka and introduce that into the games.

The season starts in nine days; once the team roster and photos get posted, I'll let you know. I expect to see the NZ flag in the arena if he's the least bit popular with fans.

It would be nice to see a Kiwi flag flying at an American football game. Speaking of which, it would have been nice to have seen a Kiwi flag at a few of The Rock's matches. He did grow up in Auckland afterall ;)
