tracker7After some more thought and consultation, I'm going to replace the ancient desktop first. The question now is which iMac to get. The candidates are a new 2GHz 20" model and a refurbished 2.16GHz 24" model. The latter is an early Intel Mac with the glossy white polycarbonate shell instead of the current aluminum shell; no big deal, really, and that 24" screen is tempting. Very tempting.
