The funeral was a simple affair.  It was good to see some long-vanished cousins.  And there were a few that were notable by their absence, but not especially missed.

Well, not by me, anyway.

Last night's Twilight: 2013 game hit one of the major story points of the game.  I'm still having much more fun with this game than I expected, and I'm particularly enjoying the character I'm playing.  I tend not to play the brute force of any particular group, but went against type for this game.  I'm playing a heavy weapons soldier, by every indication a straight-up thug.  He is smarter than he lets on, of course.

The game has suffered a bit from the loss of two players, and it means that potential absence by the remaining players can throw an entire session out the window.

Hopefully, being down one player won't be so crippling now that we're past last night's plot point. I really kind of needed everyone on deck for that, though. Being two-dimensional for that would have robbed it of a lot of its impact, I think.

I would still very much like to get the group back up to six players, by either getting Bryan and Wade back in or recruiting a couple of similar caliber.
