Takin' one for the team

I'm re-reading some of the lesser Star Wars novels that Bantam Spectra put out when they had the license. Right now, it's The Crystal Star, by Vonda McIntyre.

Swear to anything, I'm about three pages from flinging this one across the room. It's worse than I remember.

The dust jacket art kicks butt, though.
