Sunday was the last day of my extended break from work.  We finished up the short-run D&D game (characters made it from 7th to 9th level across the board).  Should we come back to this one anytime soon, I think Goodman Games' Dungeon Crawl Classics will come in handy.  Tegyrius should be stepping up to bat soon with Aberrant.

I've had a good week off.  Not really looking forward to getting back to the office;  a better job would go a long way towards changing that.

I didn't sleep especially well last night.  Had a case of tummy-funk, and Spykeetom's sick, too.  We were both in and out of bed all night.

Discovery is scheduled for landing in about an hour.  The mission, so far, has been quite the success, with the obligatory spectacular video of launch and rendezvous with the ISS.

Over on the commercial/private side of space development, Bigelow Aerospace got its Genesis-1 inflatable module up and into orbit.  The company plans to build a private space station out of these things.  Too cool.

An easy first day back at the office.  Our manager was back from her backpacking trip to Europe - she arrived on time, having not had to deal with Air Canada.

Shot the breeze about The Doors and Jimi Hendrix with Brad, one of the artists.  Tremendously cool guy.

For tonight, some writing and a nice quiet dinner.
