Slow day at work. Wrapped up and left early. Made dinner with Erin, and settled in to watch Superman Returns.
Bought Freedom City yesterday, and Green Ronin continues to be so very impressive. Here's this whole city that manages to be a mix of Metropolis and Gotham City and the Marvel Universe's New York City, but it's also an original place. This is a seriously high bar for superhero accessories.
Goshdarn Owensboro, Kentucky, has a gaming convention next weekend. Owensboro. Owensboro! Good grief.
James Brown died on Christmas Day, and Gerald Ford on the 26th. I don't expect the Accidental President to get nearly the sendoff that Reagan did. He didn't set up nearly the personality cult Reagan did, though.
Oh, hey, remember the crazy woman with the dead cat ads from back around October? There was another one on Sunday, again in Celebrations, this time with a pic of the cat sprawled out under a Christmas tree with a dreadful bit of doggerel (Ha! I made a funny.) about how wonderful Christmas was and how sad it is now that Patches the Wondercat has gone on to Kitty Heaven (where milk flows like water and the mice are slow).
