Erin's recital was last night, and she was fantastic.  A little shaky when she started the Glazounov Concerto, but that passed quickly enough, and she just played her lovely little heart out.  It was a wonderful performance.

Before she played and played and let all the stress in the world out, we exchanged birthday gifts (Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for her, Kingdom Hearts II for me) and went to see Ghost Rider.  It's not great, but it is tremendous fun - and it's got Peter Fonda as Mephisto!  We didn't spot Stan Lee in this one, though.

Stayed on the move for much of today, and for all of that, went absolutely nowhere.  Never even went outside of New Circle Road.

Took Erin to meet her dad for lunch, then off to the Rusty Scabbard for a birthday present for myself.  Bought Golden Age for Mutants & Masterminds.  I don't know that it'll see a lot of use, as I'm not likely to run an old-school/historical supers game, but the book is a good read.  Got back here just as her dad was dropping her off.  A little while later, her mom called, and took us out to a late lunch.  Erin had a ginormous margarita, and got ... comical.

We didn't do much tonight.  Just goofed around, some PS2 time.  Watching Iron Chef America now, and will probably head to bed in a little while.

She's in good spirits, nicely relaxed from having knocked out her recital last night.  Sweet precious lovely talented brilliant girl.
