This was a good weekend.  Started it off early yesterday morning, and I got a lot done - mostly writing, and some game preparation work, too.  Interestingly enough, to me, anyway, most of the game prep was for Aaron's monthly meetups.

I got out for a little while, including a trip over to the Scabbard.  Picked up All Tomorrow's Zombies, and I'm starting to think that I'm pretty well finished with the AFMBE line.  I was greatly unimpressed with ATZ - it's a competently-written book, and continues the line's tradition of doing bang-up pastiches of other settings and stories with zombies added in, but it wasn't an especially interesting read, and there wasn't much of anything in it that I couldn't have come up with well enough on the fly.

Only one comic purchase last week - Iron Man #21.  Nothing really spectacular, but I have a feeling that this is the issue that begins the necessary work of de-villifying Tony Stark before the IM movie arrives in May.

Nice bit of news from [profile] cybogoblin: Travelers Tales and LucasArts are putting out a LEGO Indiana Jones console game next summer.  Coupled with the LEGO Batman game, that claims a goodly amount of my videogame budget.

Got an idle question for you folks out there - How many member groups do you have for your LJ account?

Listening to the Green Ronin GenCon podcast - they're discussing the upcoming Iron Age sourcebook for Mutants & Masterminds.  I am extremely jazzed about this book.

I have no fewer than three USB storage devices plugged into this little eMac right now.  My supervisor has made with the giggling and rolling of eyes.

The impending resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was announced this morning.  I want to cheer, I really do, but I can't help but think it'll only get worse.
