Such Great Heights
Apr. 5th, 2008 11:00 amI started reading Ilario: The Lion's Eye (Mary Gentle) this week. Same setting as the Book of Ash, but a new set of characters, and no sign yet of the ripples-in-time-and-space. There's lots to do with gender in this one (the title character and narrator is a hermaphrodite), and I expect it's going to send me off into more reading.
My DGSE project is going to go on a brief hold, followed by an expansion in scope. I agreed this week to pick up some work for a Certain Fantasy Game, and it's a higher priority. Once that's out of the way and I'm back on DGSE, it's going to expand to include the DST as well. Go get 'em, French intelligence and counter-terrorism agencies!
The L5R game could have wrapped up this week - the players captured one of the two main villains of the piece. There are enough loose ends to keep the action going for three more sessions, though, and I now have to stave off the growing rebellion to make this an open-ended game.
The Legends started their season this week with a road stretch against Asheville. Home games start Monday night.
Horsemen game tonight. Should probably get over to Rupp and get a ticket before game time.
