Sometimes, I get a pleasant reminder of why I play and GM role-playing games.  Last night was the second session of my Joint Enforcement Initiative (Spycraft) game.  Five players, including two newcomers to Spycraft - a couple of the guys from my new Wednesday night game.  All enthusiastic, all proactive and excited.  They tore through the mission, taking it in a few new directions.  I had a great time, and everyone else at the table seemed to as well.

And the outing to BW3 after the game was pretty alright, too.

Another day with lots of time on the road today.  Drove to Liberty to handle some family stuff - one of my great-aunts is terminal, and I really needed to take the opportunity to see her.  Mom&Dad are both dealing with some kind of respiratory funk, so I volunteered to take The Niece back to Louisville.  We had a good drive - lots of joking and cutting up.  She's a great kid.

Started reading Greg Bear's Legacy this weekend.  It's good, but I'm having some small difficulty really getting into it.

After losing the first two games, the Dodgers are currently leading in Game 3 of the NLCS, 7-1.  Go forth and kick ass, guys.

Dreams are messing with me.
