Somehow, I'm carrying a low A in my anatomy course. Tuesday night's exam pulled me down a little bit, but I can rally before early May.

The class itself has been an experiment, and not a cheap one. I wanted to see if I can still be a student, and if becoming one again is really what I want to do. The answer to both seems to be yes. I'm getting back the time-management skills, and that's spilling over into other areas - setting aside time to study leads to setting aside time to write, for example. Encouragement has come from all quarters, which helps me a lot. Right now, my applications for admission and the all-important financial aid are in. I may know the path of the next two to four years in a matter of days. That's an amazing thing.

Despite the initial energy, my Legend of the Five Rings game isn't moving all that well. Weather and class issues have contributed, but there's more than that. Assuming I don't spend most of tomorrow in Louisville, I'm going to rewrite the outline and some of the NPCs and plot elements to punch things up. It deserves to be a good game.
