Brenda Spencer didn't like Mondays; I'm conflicted on Thursdays. My first class is 1:00-2:15, which is, as the kids say, NBD. My next one is at 6:00. On Tuesdays, I also have a 3:30-5:15 class, so no huge gap. Thursdays, though. It's a good opportunity to stay current in my reading and homework, but with that kind of gap, the temptation to camp out at a power outlet and burn through my Netflix queue is strong.

Now, when class is over on Thursday evening, I get to rocket over to Something 2 Do and play X-Wing, so there's that going for the end of the class week.

I'm encountering a problem that started presenting itself last semester. I was able to deflect it easily enough in the fall, since it was a classmate (or four), but now it's a teammate problem. I get it - non-native speaker, athlete, all that. But dude's got tutors and other advantages the rest of us don't, and damned if I'm going to let him ride on the other four pairs of shoulders while doing nothing. Heck, another teammate is an athlete as well, and she was the first of the team to get any material together.
