I got This One
Feb. 19th, 2015 08:28 amBack to class yesterday. Talked with my advisor, and we've worked out a plan to get me into the MPH program in the fall. It'll require the program director's approval, and I'm scheduling a meeting with him.
SPHIS had an off-campus watch party last night. Mostly graduate students, but a few of us undergrads and staff, too. About 90 minutes in, everyone's phones lit up - classes cancelled for today because of predicted extreme cold. There was no small amount of cheering.
The predicted snow didn't arrive, but it is cold cold cold this morning. Presently 2F. Enough already.
Not feeling good about this cycle's X-Wing match. It takes the Political Escort scenario, sets the point level for both sides at 75 points, and makes no other changes. The shuttle remains unshielded, so six hits will kill it, and it won't be hard for the Imperials to land that kind of damage in a hurry. I expect to see a lot of Biggs Darklighters on the tables.
