Splendid Isolation
Jun. 20th, 2016 12:10 pmI was set to run Edge of the Empire Friday night, but attendee turnout was low (Origins weekend), so I played In Nomine for the first time. Great experience, with a GM who had a clear love for the game and a player group who got into things very quickly. 4 out of 5 stars, would definitely play again.
Saturday was Free RPG Day, and Colin and I rolled out early(ish) to go get stuff. I wasn't super-keen on any of the product offerings (but did get the Feng Shui 2 quickstart); the store had a 20% off RPG sale going and I picked up a couple of EotE supplements for $40 total. Headed to Liberty afterwards.
We went to Jamestown Marina for dinner, which is becoming a comfortable habit. Tourist season is going strong on Lake Cumberland, and there was plenty to see while we ate. Got back to the house in time for me to sign in to our newly-launched Age of Rebellion game, and that was a great way to spend a Saturday evening out in the hinterlands.
Sunday, some maintenance around the house, put up a new flagpole, worked on cars. A good weekend. Very good.
