Joke's on me. Woke up to about three inches of snow on the hood and roof of the pickup. It was, luckily, the kind of fluffy dry snow that's easy to brush off. Easy drive to work; Dutchmans and Cannons were messy and rutted, so 4WD-High, I-64 was a little slushy until I drove through the Cochran Hill tunnel, and then the road was nearly clear, just wet.

We got a light hit compared to plenty of others. The western end of the state got a lot more snow, and holy cow, Texas got hammered. Some friends down that way are without power, and some are trapped in their neighborhoods because Texas doesn't have snow removal equipment.

More snow for us tomorrow night, then a warmer rainy weekend to melt and wash this stuff away.
