Out Here in the Middle

Good food, but otherwise the fish fry was a bust. I was bored and very much alone, and was more than ready to leave when Dad was finished wish his social butterflying. The rest of the night was bad. Mind-weasels were going strong, and they dragged me to some pretty dark places. Sleep meds finally sent them away.

Some jerkass decided to burn through a bunch of fireworks last night, rattling the house for 25 minutes. So, this morning, when I knew said nearby resident was good and asleep, I made good use of the large backyard and field and put about 150 rounds through the M&P2.

I think I'm done with some of the podcasts I've been subscribed to for a while. Opening Arguments has lost a lot of its allure and enjoyment, and of all the UFO/cryptid/weirdness shows I listen to, Somewhere in the Skies is easily the least interesting. Still no shortage of stuff to listen to.
