tracker7Pretty good weekend. Saw The DaVinci Code on Saturday, and rather liked it. It went on a little too long, but it's a solid bit of work. I can't quite suss out why critics have been so hard on this one. Maybe they're all cranky Opus Dei members. Trailers - Miami Vice (oh, yes...) and Casino Royale. CR looks good, and there's a line spoken by Judi Dench in the trailer that goes along with my "James Bond is an identity, not a single man" movie theory.
After the movie,spykeetom and I went to Berea to finish emptying her dorm room. Dorm fridges don't fit especially well in 2-door Ford Tempos, should you ever need to do so. Locked her keys in the trunk, and elalyr and tegyrius brought my spares down. In an attempt at gratitude, Spykeetom and I made them lunch on Sunday.
Sunday itself was mostly taken up by T's Adventure game. Great fun, and promises to wrap up big-time next weekend. RevK has made some noise about picking up the game full-time with the existing characters when the short run comes to an end.
The Horsemen lost for the first time this season on Saturday night. Drat.
Working the old desk today. Trying to contain my excitement.
The Spycraft game looks to improve, and soon. I've spoken with most of the players about game issues, and Tegyrius took care of some issues with one more. Now, to see what I can do with the materials I have got.
