There's a musical theatre podcast that I really like (Jim and Tomic's Happy Hour, I think), and they recently did an episode on Sondheim's "Assassins" as a way to deal with all the heinous shit in the world lately. I found it especially therapeutic, and every time I run into a Trump-supporting windbag or a butthurt anarchist Bernie hold-out, all I can think of is their break-down of the song/lyric, "Everybody's got the right to their dreams": America isn't how I want it to be, isn't treating me how I want to be treated, so fuck everybody else.
