I hate you so very much, Air Canada.  6 weeks ago, your delays caused Erin to miss her flight to Munich, and she was in Salzburg for two days before you got her luggage to her.  Today, your plane is 45 minutes late getting out of Munich for no discernable reason.  She misses her connection to Chicago - you were able to put her on a later flight, and hopefully she won't miss her connector to Louisville.

Should I ever have to fly somewhere, it sure as heck won't be under the maple leaf emblem.

According to Flight Explorer, her plane is about half an hour from touching down in Chicago.  Two hours at O'Hare, then a 90-minute flight to Louisville.

Went to Liberty Friday night.  Saw my grandmother on Saturday.  It was a good time with her.

Life for her will be like walking on the moon underwater for at least 3 days. The culture shock of being back and jetlag are near indescribable.

Wow. That is a perfect description. Thank you. I hadn't been able to quit describe it yet. I kept getting the feeling I was going to wake up and still be in a hostel in Europe all day yesterday.

There was also the indescribable annoyance of absolutely nothing having changed while I was gone. It was as though my entire time in France was a great big quantum leap loup that ended where it began. Gah.

Yeah, pretty much. I still can't quite describe how I feel at the moment. Like things aren't quite real.
