It has been a week, I tell you.

The weekend at Rough River Dam was just so darn good. Good people. A beautiful location. Good food and drinks and games. The perils of an electric car and charging it from a 120 volt outlet. Talking and catching up and just being together. And planning, most of us, to reassemble in a few months at a con and do it again.

To balance things out, I guess, Mom's back in Ephraim McDowell. She was badly dehydrated Monday morning, so Dad took her to the county hospital's ER. From there, airlifted to EMRMC. Dehydration from a kidney infection, and a very low hemoglobin level. The good news is, she's able to get out of bed and move on her own, and she sounds strong enough - but during a couple of conversations, she has been bombed out of her skull on pain medication and antibiotics and it has been, from my end, more than a little bit funny. No idea how much longer she'll have to stay, though. Hoping to see her Saturday or Sunday.

I think I've finally hit my saturation point with superhero TV, or at least the CW's franchise. Arrow ended, I didn't watch anything from Black Lightning's final season; even the last season of Supergirl has been a wash for me. Years of entertainment, so that's definitely a good thing.
