The propaganda coming out of Ukraine is actually something I'm deeply leery of - St Javelin is explicitly pro-Raytheon, pro-arms manufacture propaganda and there's no universe that's good or healthy. Seeing Raytheon ALSO involve themselves in the science fiction community by literally sponsoring the Hugos is deeply disturbing to me. The US is using a legitimate tragedy to push some extremely sick lines of thinking and people consume it without a second thought. No matter how this goes in Ukraine, we're all going to be MUCH worse off because of it - there's absolutely no doubt about that. Seeing the way people are lashing out at Russian nationals is nauseating. I cannot stress how bad this is going to get, soon.
